Author, Performer, Playwright

On my writer’s wall of inspiration, my artistic purpose burns in my soul daily. It promises to fearlessly question the original cause and permeating after effects of the African Diaspora on its descendants. With forty one million African Americans breathing in America, it adds up to a smorgasbord of distinct stories primed to live on stages.

To that end, my histrionic art constructs unique realms by connecting the umbilical cord of the past to present-day experiences, indigenous rituals next to contemporary human programming, urban economic inequalities juxtaposed to an affluent order all through the spiritual lens of Syd. In essence, my innate writer’s voice blends drama with comedy, illogical thought against reason and the beauty of humanity alongside the ugly brushed under society’s carpet.
